Exhaust penetration through bulkheads and decks, watertight and fire-rated, class A-60.
Hell-Sea is a Service A.B.A. product: it lets high-temperature exhaust pipes pass through the rooms of a vessel without compromising comfort and design.
How it is made
The sealing element is a special braid. The penetration is designed to be fitted easily and taken apart when the pipes need maintenance.
It suits the problems of thermal expansion and high temperatures in exhaust pipes. Eccentric and concentric configurations are available.
Certification
The product holds the MED EC type examination for A-60, the RINA type approval for watertight integrity and the US Coast Guard type approval.
Hell-Sea is the only exhaust penetration in the world certified for 2 bar watertight integrity and A-60 fire protection at the same time.
Certification applies to marine use; for land-based projects, in concrete or masonry, the required fire rating must be confirmed with the project's authority and Hell-Sea's technical team.
